Kids first aid sessions
Hands on education for life long learning
Are you looking for a session for the school holidays that not only gives them the knowledge about how the body works, but also hands on skills that they can take through their whole life with them?
Look no further!
We have put together our expert led first aid course with the biology behind what’s going on in the body too, so your child can fully understand what is happening and why.
Katherine is an experienced Neonatal intensive care nurse, basic life support instructor (RCUK) and has a level 3 in teaching and education – these session are adapted to be easily understood by children yet challenging and including topics within the curriculum.
We will cover
Basic life support (CPR) – along with the biology of the heart, how the heart works, what it does and what to do if it stops beating
Choking – The respiratory system, how the lungs work & what they do. What to do if someone is choking and can’t breathe.
Our sessions are intended to support your children not only with the skills and education but with building connections with their peers. There is lots of opportunity to work in groups and make new friends.
Session – £15 per child (90 mins)
Spaces are limited, book in advance early to avoid disappointment – Snacks and drinks provided
*Please note – you can not leave your child unattended at this session, parents/carers are expected to stay with their child*
