The breastfeeding journey can sometimes be a difficult one. Often parents find that they are under prepared for the realities of breastfeeding and as a result are left feeling let down, leading to them giving up feeling they’ve somehow failed their baby – Our masterclass with senior neonatal nurse Sophie, aims to give you all the information you will need in order to start breastfeeding fully informed with what to expect, what’s normal, the challenges and how to overcome them, Sophie will also give you hints and tips to ensure successful breastfeeding. This is a fantastic way to start your breastfeeding journey whether you are a first-time breastfeeding parent, or you have tried previously and would like a different breastfeeding journey this time round.

- Keeping the non-breastfeeding parent involved, how they can support breast feeding, and bond successfully.
This course is also offered on a 1:1 basis (bring a partner/grandparent/friend) where you have the opportunity to sit with Sophie in our clinic room and benefit from her experience while she runs through all you need to know to successfully breastfeed your baby. In this personalised session you can ask any questions you may have.
